Meet Flashblack

Flashblack founder, Jeremy Geia is a Kaurareg, Ku-Ku Yimithirr man from Far North Queensland, who has been working in the Media & Communications sector for more than 10 years.

He has been a long time Television reporter, producer who's work has featured on some of the world's leading agencies including the ABC, BBC, Sky News and CNN. He now runs the company.

Flashblack has developed and worked on a range of Social Marketing & Cultural Projects , including the Minh Pora Japan Project, the Saltwater Indigenous Film Festival, the Flashblack Film Festival and various youth health and sexual health promotions.

Flashblack has also been the event co-ordinator of the Laura Festival for the last six years - this spectacular is arguably the largest and longest running Aboriginal Cultural event in Australia.

As an indigenous enterprise, Flashblack is committed to developing sustainable economic opportunities for our people who want to live close to their traditions, on their own country.
